Shopify is a hosted ecommerce solution that allows you to build a complete online store with integrated payment system. Unlike Zlio, it is your own own products that you must sell in your online shop, no products from merchants or any third party vendors but there is a Shopify T-Shirt as a sample product after registering your account. The Village Sheep Shop is just one of those online shop powered by Shopify.

Building your online shop takes just a few moments of registration process (already include selection of theme to be used) and after that you will then be able to access the administration panel of your store where you can manage products, view orders, create content, run a blog, and modify your store appearance. You must also setup the method of payments you will accept. Currently, it supports a number of credit card payments and of course the popular PayPal, Google Checkout and Authorize.net. It even let you accept manual payments such as money orders, bank deposits and Cash on Delivery (COD). You should also setup the shipping system of your store since it is your own products that you are selling. With those few clicks of your store settings, you are ready to sell your products online.

Technically-wise, Shopify has a gallery of themes that you can choose to use with your store. If you are tech-savvy, Shopify has also an application that lets you create your own theme, called Vision. Shopify also supports using your own domain name - this is very important for branding - also supprted by Zlio. Shopify does have a marketplace too  in which you can add your products for free to gain more exposure.

Shopify has four pricing plans to setup your own store. There’s a free trial plan which has no cost at all but you are limited up to five orders only. When you reached five orders, you will have to choose a paid plan to continue selling. One thing I think missing with Shopify is an affiliate program. They should have included it from the start so that they can recruit an army of marketers, for them to minimize the promotion and maximizing profits.

  “I need $100 in YourProcessor and I’ll pay you $110 via MyProcessor” - this is an exchange in eCurrency. If you have a lot of funds in your payment processor which others don’t have (let’s say e-gold for example), you can also offer this at DP. Just be careful with scammers (though there’s an iTrader system) and most importantly, this may not allowed on the payment processor you used. I intended it to be just a short list because I will let some DPers share some thoughts on how can they make money online with DP until it reaches a total of 101. To start with DPers interactions, I would like to add one to the list I created above: Make Money To Digg, Stumble, etc. There are still ways that I knew of that can add up the list but it will definitely fall under the Services (freelance) forum.

Listed below were the overview of general ideas on how you can earn money online, whether part time, full time and/or working from the comfort of your home. These ideas doesn’t promised you that you will become rich, however, it may be the case if you dedicate your time an effort. These methods requires your skills (be sure you have at least one and be able to identify what is it), time, hardwork, dedication and patience. If you don’t have these needed qualities, just don’t read further anymore.

Some ways are nice, some are boring, others might be totally for an internet newbie (the intended audience) and there may be others that are repeatedly mentioned but at least these are legal and can let you have at least a single cent (no, it should be more than that). These are just ways and ideas - promotion, marketing and specifics on how to earn in a certain program is not covered here, thus your earning potential greatly depend on you.

1. Create website.
Your website may range from content-rich site, membership subscription sites, forums, gaming, anime downloads, directories of all kind, proxy, image and file hosting, video streaming and a list many to mention. You can monetize it through various methods such as selling advertising space, contextual ads, affiliate banners, membership subscriptions, pay per download, etc. The way you monetize your site will depend on what kind of site you are going to build.

2. Google Adsense and Other Contextual Advertising Programs.
The most basic way to monetize your website is to have contextual ads in your website from third-party advertising networks. Google Adsense (the hottest and most preferred in the industry), Yahoo! Publisher Network (YPN, US only), Bidvertiser, and Clicksor are only few of those ad networks that delivers contextual ads to your website. You just simply put a code in your pages where you want the ads to appear, and if your visitor(s) click on that ads, you will get paid. Please take note that you may not able to place ads from those specified networks to your site together. For example, you cannot have Adsense and YPN displayed together in your website. Once a purchased or a sign-up occur through your affiliate link,you will earn a percentage of the amount that the company selling the product earns on that sale.

This works much like of an Affiliate Programs, selling others’ products and services. However, on MLM, you will also get paid on your affiliates’ affiliates (downlines) commissions, multi level. But the MLM business model has a bad image and is considered by most as a Pyramid Scheme which is not true since it depends on the company that runs the business. Please make a due deligince before entering into an MLM business. TIP: Don’t join a program if it requires you to pay before you can join them.

The easiest way to monetize your blog is through Google Adsense. Other way of monetizing your blog is by selling advertising space (whether direct or through a third-party such as Text Link Ads).
